So, I've been using the the website CAN You Run It as a way to find out if I can run certain games. Recently I looked into the system requirement for Wolfenstien 2 and one of the requirements to run the game is 4 GB of Dedicated Video Ram. The site said I had 3 GB of Dedicated VRAM, but when I checked for myself it turns out I have 4.096 GB of Dedicated VRAM.
So what gives?
Let's see if I can stay up to speed on this.
I'll try add new GOG releases here for some of the more well known games/Publishers instead of creating a new thread for each group as they seem to be coming more often.
Many of these will have been out for a bit, but are now coming to GOG DRM Free for those that prefer their games that way.
I've been paying attention to this since I heard about it a long time back. It's now in Closed Beta and accepting Pre-order instant access. Has anyone had any hands-on with this game? I'm on the fence, as it's been compared to ARMA and DayZ, both of which I haven't played. Hoping to hear some people's experiences with it.
Not sure if there's any other fans of the series on here but I played the beta while it was active and the game went live yesterday. So far, I've been quite impressed. It's a gorgeous RTS, the dialog/voice acting is definitely superior to the previous games in the series (IMO). I haven't run into any major bugs/technical issues yet although frame rates aren't what I'd like in some places.
For those not familiar with the series, Spellforce is an attempt to blend RTS's with RPG. While by...
Sounds like a spiritual successor to Shadowbane.
If it's bug free and uses a stable game engine, I'll definitely be playing. Tired of the hundreds of WoW-clones, this sounds like a nice change of pace.
A new vehicle (power suit) and much more stuff to explore on the Aurora.
Its far from complete, but this is a huge step.
Gal Civ 3 also got a small update. Many bug fixes, including improved stability and performance on massive maps (hundreds of planets, thousands of ships).
And Worms WMD is now out.
Clickbait thread title aside, I was thinking about this the other day. Is the fact that PUBG runs like a pig been good for hardware manufacturers, and the PC gaming community as a whole?
I have personally had to upgrade 3 systems (wife's, friends, and family members) just to be able to play PUBG at reasonable visual quality, and framerates. Without this game, it probably would have been a couple of years before any of these systems saw an upgrade. That's the part that is good for the...
I put ~ 225 hours into Dirt Rally - by far-far the most hours I've put into any game in the last 15 years.
I'm totally stoked for Dirt 4 - looking forward to multiplayer Rally stages a la Dirt 3.
Gamer Mode vs Simulation Mode - HA HA.
Simulation Mode all the way baby!
There was once a thread, only version 2.0.
I'm sure there are many players in the forum, some probably played BETA. Path of Exile - Fall of Oriath will be released on August 4th.
I invite you to the discussion

I've enjoyed playing Skyrim and Morrowind some, and I'm interested in checking out Tamriel Online but really don't want to commit much money to it. Would this deal make sense and are there any reasons not to do it?
Can a key from these guys be activated on Steam?
Fully 3D but most of the time a standard overhead view.
Getting decent reviews.
Also, they remade Wild Guns:
The Angry Video Game Nerd recently looked at the classic version, and said some not very nice things about.
Things involving donkeys and ansuses.
I would like to use my TV for most of my PC gaming and my monitor for those games that were designed for a mouse/keyboard. I would like to know if there is a quick hassle-free way to switch between a monitor and a tv including switching the audio from PC speakers to TV speakers with a single key press. I know about the Win + P keyboard shortcut but that only works for displays and I still have to change the audio source manually after that. I'm looking for either a program that I can run...
This guy is just as rude IRL as in the game! LOL
I just set it up, it took all of 30 seconds. I guess you can ask him to switch to specific loadouts for raid content or call for backup from clan members, etc. Gotta admit, it's a really cool skill! I'm not sure of all the possible things to ask, I'll have to try again once the servers are up and I'm in the game.
